As part of the implementation of the Heat Strategy 2020, Stadtwerke Greifswald is planning the construction of a combined heat and power plant and the construction of an innovative combined heat and power plant (CHP). As part of the overall project, two CHP modules, one electric boiler of approximately 5 MW el. In a new building to be built, a heat storage with 200 MWh capacity and a solar thermal system with approximately 17 000 m 2 Collector area built.
