Tysvær Municipality invite turnkey contractors with sub-consultants/suppliers to submit tenders for the engineering design services, construction, and trial operation of a new secondary school at Frakkagjerd, with the accompanying outdoor area and local environment installations. The project was approved in municipal council meeting KST 018.
The execution model is a price and design contest (turnkey contract with a solution proposal).
The project will cover engineering design services, planning, and execution of: A secondary school for 540 pupils. The plot's outdoor area with adaptations to the existing local environment installations and
infrastructure.
To facilitate an optimal project within the applicable investment framework, the solution proposal must be prepared in a development phase/collaboration phase in a collaboration between the builder, users and tenderer. In this phase, the project will also be quality assured against the requirements set in the tender documentation.

The project will cover engineering design services, planning, and execution of: A secondary school for 540 pupils. The plot's outdoor area with adaptations to the existing local environment installations and
infrastructure. Volunteers, teams, and associations are an important part of the users of the existing
local environment installations, and the outdoor area and school project must therefore be adapted to this
need.
This will be detailed in the area and function programme. All areas are based on the area and function programme. The total BTA is just under 7000 m2.
To facilitate an optimal project within the applicable investment framework, the solution proposal must be prepared in a development phase/collaboration phase in a collaboration between the builder, users and tenderer. In this phase, the project will also be quality assured against the requirements set in the tender documentation.
In addition to the school's outdoor area, the landscape architect will also have the task of adapting and designing an internal road between the school sites, sports centre, nursery, and within the limits of the existing local environment installations. This must be shown in a general plan of
the area. It must be adapted around existing footpaths and recreational areas. The pavement can be moved. The collaboration phase will assess what will be used outside the plot boundary.
Work on a new area development plan is under way. The Planning and Building Authority will require a formulated detailed situation plan within the construction area before the building application for the measure is approved. The new area development plan will be presented in spring 2022. If
the plan is not approved before the building application date for this project, there are preparations for a dispensation application. See the tender documentation part 3 for further information. The project must fulfil energy and environmental requirements in addition to TEK17. The project's energy and
environmental strategy are in the Environment Programme, which is an annex to the contest. A detailed description of the expected deliveries is in the tender documentation part 3.
