As part of the IDEA program for the consolidation and development of geothermal energy, the Ghlin well was the subject of quality control by logs at the end of 2017, taking advantage of the presence in the region of specialized equipment used in the cleaning operations of the Saint-Ghislain well.

Logs from the Ghlin well showed that it required cleaning operations and led to a shutdown of the well requiring the implementation of the emergency boiler.

Given that these investigations have highlighted the presence of deposits at the right of the casing, cleaning operations of the well, including in particular a rechemising of the casing 16 '' in 13'' 3/8 (in order to avoid the problems encountered during the cleaning of the geothermal well of Saint-Ghislain), are scheduled from the second half of 2022, in order to try to recover at least its initial characteristics. Cleaning operations could also include optional services such as the identification and capping of a possible leaky area.

The purpose of this contract is to designate a company that will carry out the proposed cleaning operations.
