The Bellenkopf / Rappenwört polder (BeRa) is part of the Integrated Rhine Program (IRP) in the Karlsruhe district. The retention area (RHR) will have a retention volume of approx. 14 million m
The plan approval decision has been available since December 2020. In 2021, the planning services for the structural implementation will be awarded and the implementation planning will begin. The completion target of the structural implementation is 2028.

With this contract announcement, the awarding of freelance services for the following (planner) lot is pursued:
Planner lot PL7-1: Cross-lot power supply and electrotechnical equipment: specialist planning § 55 HOAI.
II.2.4.1) Sub-area to be processed with the contract to be awarded:
The services to be awarded for planner lot PL7-1 relate to measures in lot 7. The following can be named as essential objects:
- BL7-1: Network station and energy supply pumping station Neuburgweier,
- BL7-2: network station and power supply pumping station south / control station,
- BL7-3: network connection, network station N 812 in Rheinpark Rappenwört,
- BL7-4: mains connection, network station N 409 on Fritschlachweg,
- BL7-5: grid station and power supply pumping station north,
- BL7-6: Construction of the power supply network for all operational facilities of the polder,
- BL7-7: Electrotechnical equipment of individual systems (structures / operating facilities of the polder) with switchgear for the energy supply including the associated MSR technology.

In a separate, parallel planner lot PL7-2, planning services for the cross-lot control technology (control of all systems) will be processed. With this planner lot PL7-2 and the other planner lots for the object and specialist planning of the buildings, close coordination on interfaces is required.
II.2.4.2) Performance profile:
The task is divided into two focal points (levels):
Task focus 1 (overall project level):
- Concept development for a secure, higher-level power supply for all structures with electrical systems,
- Elaboration of standardization specifications for the electrotechnical equipment of structures in the retention area.
Task focus 2 (building level):
- Planning of electrotechnical systems for the energy supply of buildings including their consumers as well as the system automation related to the energy supply. The interfaces to other specialist planning are the respective building installation (from the connection / switchgear via the specialist planner of the other lots) and the standardized data connection to the central control system (to be coordinated across lots).
The service profile PL7-1 essentially includes the following services to be provided for the aforementioned objects:
1) Planning of supply networks for electrical power supply for spatially distributed connection participants up to 2 MVA with special consideration of a high availability according to § 55 HOAI, LP 1-9 without LP 4.
2) Planning of electrical equipment at voltage levels up to and including 20 kV for power distribution and associated interfaces for system automation, measurement technology and communication technology according to § 55 HOAI, LP 1-9 without LP 4.

II.2.4.3) Step-by-step commissioning:
The assignment takes place in stages:
Stage I = basic contract: development of cross-lot supply concepts as well as services for planning the power supply up to preparing the tender documents (service phase 6)
Stage II = optional services: Services of the construction phase (from service phase 7).
