The Avon and Somerset Constabulary (Authority) intends to invite tenders for the provision of a vehicle body shop repairer to provide services in support of its 1 000 plus fleet of police vehicles. For the purpose of the contract the fleet has been divided into 4 vehicle groups.

Group A - Cars, car-derived vans, four wheel drives and people carriers

Group B - Medium panel vans and minibuses (up to 3 500kg GVW)

Group C - Large panel vans and minibuses (3 501 to 7 500kg GVW)

Group D - LGV (over 7 500kg GVW and specialist vehicles)

The contract will be for a vehicle body shop repair service and the Authority is looking to appoint 1 or more repairers to cover the Avon and Somerset Constabulary force area. The Authority would ideally like the same supplier to provide the service for the whole force area, however, if you are limited to a geographical area please still submit an expression of interest.
