The subject of the contract is a service consisting in the felling of trees growing on river slopes in the vicinity of buildings, roads, public utility buildings, agricultural land.

A detailed scope of work is included in Appendix No. 1 to the Terms of Reference - description of the subject of the contract and Appendix No. 2 to the Terms of Reference - BILL of QUANTITIES.

Tree felling (removal) should be carried out, m.in in accordance with relevant administrative decisions (obtaining a decision is the responsibility of the Contracting Authority) and with the applicable law, including m.in Act of 16 April 2004. Nature Conservation Act (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2020, item 55, as amended) and health and safety regulations. The scope of work includes securing the felling site, cutting down the tree (the height of the trunk after removal is equal to the ground level), cutting and transporting the wood to the place indicated by the Ordering Party with stacking separately with wood species and assortments. The technique of wood felling depends on the terrain conditions. Depending on the situation, it can be carried out from the ground or with the use of a balcony lift with a projection adapted to the needs or by mountaineering methods. Chip the branches in the place of pruning or in places convenient for the Contractor. The felled tree is the property of the Ordering Party. The area after felling should be cleaned up at the latest on the next calendar day from the day of work. Until it is cleaned up, waste may only be deposited in places where it will not obstruct communication or pose a threat. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure temporary traffic organization for the duration of the works and to incur costs related to switching off the power supply in power lines. The cost of waste disposal should be included in the price of the service. The wood should be transported in the place indicated by the Ordering Party (maximum distance up to 5 km). The Contracting Authority points out that tree felling may be carried out in hard-to-reach places (slopes of watercourses near buildings, roads, bridges, agricultural land, power lines, fences, etc.). requiring the use of specialized equipment, including mountaineering techniques. Trees that are subject to felling may also be partially damaged.

The unit of measurement is 1 cm of the circumference of the tree trunk measured at a height of 1.30 m from the ground surface.

The subject of the contract should be performed under the conditions specified in the Terms of Reference and in accordance with:

the proposed provisions of the agreement,

applicable health and safety regulations,

applicable law, including m.in. the Nature Conservation Act of 16 April 2004 (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2020, item 55, as amended).

The Contracting Authority recommends that the Contractor carry out a site visit at the Contractor's expense before submitting the offer. The date of the site visit can be agreed by the Contractor with the employees:
