The objective of the tender competition is to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of furniture (Offices and institution furniture and school and nursery furniture).

The contract value is estimated to be above the EEA threshold. The estimated value is not binding for the contracting authority. The need is uncertain. The historical figure for procured services is NOK 7 000 000 excluding VAT in the past year. The volume will be dependent on i.a. the contracting authority's requirements, activities, budget and other framework factors.

Lots/groups

The contracting authority has considered dividing the assignment in accordance with PPR §19-4, and has decided that for this type of procurement it is suitable to divide into two groups.

Tenders can be submitted for one or both groups. Sub-tenders and alternative tenders cannot be submitted within each group.

The two groups are:

— office and institution furniture,

— school and nursery furniture.

Framework agreement.

The assignment will be regulated by the attached framework agreement with the accompanying standard agreement terms.

The framework agreement will be valid from and including 7 September 2020 until and including 6 September 2022, with an option for the contracting authority for a further extension for up to 2 years, 12 months at a time.

The contracting authority expects that the tenderer studies the contractual terms and makes the required internal clarifications in such a way that a contract can be signed if awarded.
