NRK would like to procure a new graphical system for television weather forecasts. 

The current system for TV weather forecasts is very old, has stability problems, and uses old technology. In addition the requirements from the TV meteorologists have increased. Efficient storytelling, fast changing weather, and more weather forecasts, and the consequences of meteorological dangers require more modern systems. Historical, current, and future climate and climate adaptations will be a more dominating part of the news. 

The wanted effects are easier to change in the visual narrator techniques on climate, weather, and weather forecasts. Also better integration between the platforms for mobile, TV, and internet. A new system will also meet NRK's technology requirements (Cloud/SaaS and modernisations). 

NRK would like an SaaS graphical system for TV weather forecasts: 

Modern market leading system (off-the-shelf). 

Better tool for visual storytelling. 

Interaction with the public. 

Publication across platforms.
