The operating services comprise a total of approx. 4.3 million train kilometres per year on the RB 6 / S6 Munich – Scharnitz, RB 60 / S7 Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Pfronten-Steinach, RE 61 Munich – Mittenwald, RE 62 Munich – Lermoos, RB 63 Murnau – Oberammergau, RB 65 Munich – Weilheim, RB 66 Munich – Kochel.

In addition, 2 contingent items specified in more detail in the tender documents are foreseen.

The transport services to be provided include the operation of regional services in the Werdenfels network on the RB 6 / S6 Munich – Scharnitz, RB 60 / S7 Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Pfronten-Steinach, RE 61 Munich – Mittenwald, RE 62 Munich – Lermoos, RB 63 Murnau – Oberammergau, RB 65 Munich – Weilheim, RB 66 Munich – Kochel.

The services are to be provided from the beginning of the 2028 timetable year. The traffic implementation contract ends at the end of the 2039 timetable year. The term of the obligation to provide services is therefore 12 years from the start of operations.

The transport contract will contain detailed specifications on the quality of the transport services to be provided. With regard to the respective type of contract (Bavaria and Tyrol), reference is made to the procurement documents.

For the provision of transport services, the use of used vehicles built from 2011 onwards or of new vehicles is permitted. A debt service guarantee to finance new vehicles is offered.
