Software package and information systems. The Authority is seeking a provider to integrate an existing application, Bracis (Biological, Radiological and Chemical Information System), onto the BCIP (Bowman and Combat, Information Platform) infrastructure. This Networked BRACIS capability will be an important upgrade to the current Bracis application, used by the UK forces on standalone laptops, which will enhance Warning and Reporting capability while reducing the need for bespoke computer hardware.

The contract will include a service element, up to the out of service date (currently envisaged as being 2018). There will also be a refresh (currently timed for 2016), but the costs for this are not included in the Networked Bracis project.
