The contracting authority carries out a European tender for the contract of one tenderer per municipality that supplies, installs and maintains stairlifts.

In advance, the scope of this assignment cannot be fully determined. In addition, it is uncertain when the contracting person wants to make use of the supplies in question. That is why the form of the framework agreement fits the best with this assignment.

These framework agreements per municipality are expected to enter into force at the beginning of August 2022 or as soon as possible afterwards. The initial duration of the framework agreement is three full years. In addition, the option is up to twice a unilateral extension of 12 months for the contracting authority. Therefore, the total duration of a framework agreement for the supply and installation of stairlifts does not exceed five years.
