The Education Department shall enter into a framework agreement with three tenderers for the delivery and installation of intercom equipment for the schools in Oslo. The term ‘intercom’ means technical devices dedicated to (made especially for) internal loudspeaking two-way communication in schools. We do not mean a telephone exchange with additional functionality for internal communication.
The primary need for intercom in the schools in Oslo is due to the stand-by perspective.
The main area of use will be situations where a teacher has an acute need to summon help, or where the administration needs to give important messages to one or several classrooms.
The Education Department has decided to install intercom facilities in all schools in Oslo from a stand-by perspective and therefore would like to establish a framework agreement for the procurement of intercom equipment and associated services for schools in Oslo. The implemention has started, but approx. 25 schools are left. In addition there will be a need for supplementary procurements and investments for new schools that are started in the coming years.
The volume is estimated to be approx. 10 000 000 NOK in the first year (2018) and then an annual volume of 2 000 000 - 3 000 000 NOK per annum. The estimate is only a guideline and is without obligation for the contracting authority.
The contracting authority intends to enter into 3 parallel framework agreements.
