NHS Sheffield CCG sought bids from suitably qualified and experienced community pharmacy providers from within Sheffield city boundaries for an Extended Hours Pharmacy service. The purpose of the Extended Hours Pharmacy service is to ensure provision of a full range of quality pharmacy services accessible to the general public at all times of opening, to provide patients with advice and support, in collaboration with other health and social care professionals and to provide an innovative model of out of hours care, responding particularly to the urgent care needs of patients.

The contract has been awarded for a period of 2 years, with the option to extend for a further 1 year.
