The proposal is the second stage in the redevelopment of the West Herts College Dacorum Campus, and will provide a 40 000 ft2 Engineering and Construction Centre adjacent to the Phase 1 building, which was completed in 2017.

The built form will consist of a 2 storey educational block which will adjoin the Phase 1 building to the north. It will be constructed of a mix of brick and render, with significant glazing to its frontage.
