Hertinger Tor as an educational location / New construction of a primary school with a kindergarten and a family centre

The subject of this tender is the manufacture, delivery and installation of vertically installed French doors and window elements in accordance with EN 14351-1 in wood-metal construction including surface finishing, insertion and sealing of glazing and, if required, other additional equipment.

Wood-to-metal windows and/or wood-metal composite windows within the meaning of this invitation to tender are structures covered on the outside by metal profiles. They must have a material-appropriate composite of wood and metal. The subject of this invitation to tender is therefore further constructions in which the profiles arranged on the room side are made of solid or laminated wood. The timber profiles must take over the forces from horizontal traffic loads, wind loads, fillings, fittings, etc. and divert them into the structure. The metal profiles must prevent direct weathering of the wood. Wooden profiles and metal profiles must be joined together in a soft-pushing/gliding manner. The metal profiles shall be rear-ventilated.
