Cromarty Firth Port Authority (CFPA) is continuing the development of the Invergordon Services Base in order to meet the growing demand of the offshore energy market. The CFPA intends to expand the port by embarking on a project to reclaim approximately 35 000 m
The detailed Phase 3 redevelopment works are likely to include:
— Land reclamation of approximately 35 000 m
— Development of the site for use as a modern functioning service base including;
— Increased water depth at the quayside;
— Heavy load out quayside to support a 1000 tonne mobile crane with required piling arrangement, mooring dolphins, bollards, fendering system, mooring winches and corrosion system;
— Paving of reclaimed land to provide a suitable engineered flat area;
— Associated Utilities including: lighting to the dock, water supply, fire fighting capacity, electrical systems and have a proprietary drainage system to an interceptor and outfall meeting SEPA standards; and
— Consultations and Liaisons with regulators and key stakeholders.
CFPA is looking to appoint a Design and Construct Contractor to carry out the civil, marine and infrastructure works at the Invergordon Service Base.
