Malvik Municipality invites tenderers to participate in a contest for 'E1 Preparatory Work' for Saksvik Sewage Treatment Plant.

Malvik Municipality will demolish the existing sewage treatment plant in Saksvik and construct a new plant on the same site, Rønningsvegen 31. Some preparatory work for this must be carried out in 2021. At the same time, a new sewage pump station will be established at Vikhammer, as well as temporary cleaning in Saksvik. The preparatory work must be coordinated with these other contracts. When all of this is in place, the demolition of the existing building, ground work, and construction work for the new sewage treatment plant will start.
Contract E1 preparatory work is the first contract to be procured, the others will be procured consecutively.
The project will be carried out with divided contracts, with start up at different dates throughout the construction period of approx. 2.5 years. The provisional plan for execution of the different work is shown in the table below.

E7 Automation 2023. The contract for the preparatory work will be in accordance with NS8405.
The following work is included in this contract (E1):
— temporary site road and levelling at Saksvik RA for the barracks. The work will be partly in a quick clay area. Thorough geotechnical surveys have been carried out. The requirements and guidelines for carrying out the work will be given at the time of the tender enquiry;
— alterations to existing water and sewage pipelines and the accompanying new manholes at Saksvik RA;
— establishment of submarine pipelines: two emission pipelines from Saksvik sewage treatment plant and a pump pipeline between Saksvik and Vikhammerfjæra APS, and an emission pipeline from Vikhammerfjæra APS;
— crossing the railway with directional drilling at Saksvik RA, with an exit into the sea;
— ground survey with pilot drilling crossing the railway at Vikhammer, with exit into the sea;
— crossing the railway with controlled drilling at Vikhammer;
— excavating, lowering, and connecting to the pipeline network for manholes and the sewage pump station at Vikhammer. The pump station with the accompanying intake foam (S22) will be delivered in another contract;
— the sea side of the railway at Vikhammer will only be accessible from the sea. The subway is only dimensioned for pedestrians;
— ditches for submarine pipes in the low water areas. Temporary site roads in the sea are to be established with matter and machine transport from the sea.
The planned construction start is week 46, 2021 with completion in week 19, 2022
