Technical equipment, Anl.gr 7 laboratory facilities
Building 63.400 Anatomy is part of the building complex of the so-called preclinical institutes of the University of Lübeck.
The building houses a microscopy room (histo-room) and a dissection room, each with a floor area of approx. 220 m². There are preparation rooms on the ground floor. The associated changing rooms are located in the partial basement to building 63.100. The total usable area of the building is approx. 575 m².
A major challenge of the measure is the constant maintenance of the study operation parallel to the construction work. This results in the necessity to divide the measure into construction phases and also to create provisional measures for individual sections.
In the future, the anatomy department will need 2 dissection rooms, so that first the histo-room will be converted into a dissection room and then the existing dissection room will be renovated.
Due to the substances formalin and alcohol, among other things, used in the dissection room, increased requirements for handling carcinogenic substances and explosion protection must also be taken into account. In order to comply with the prescribed limit values, preparation tables with an integrated ventilation system are to be installed. For the regulation of the preparation tables, precise coordination between the TA and laboratory planners is required.
For the renovation of the pre-hospital building, building 63,400 anatomy, planning offices have already been commissioned for the scope of services for object planning buildings and interiors as well as technical building equipment.
The following points are to be taken into account by the planner or are expected:
- The focus of the technical planning is the integration of 24 new mobile dissection tables into the two future dissection rooms (approx. 230 m2 each)
- Integration of the new tables with their ventilation systems for the workstations into the overall ventilation system of the building part
- Reduction of the exposure of students and workers to chemical and biological risks during preparation (e.g. formaldehyde exposure)
- Concept for the installation and operation of mobile dissection tables and permanently installed supply air units; both components must be dimensioned and tendered together; observance of room temperatures, drafts and sound pressure levels;
- Consideration of sustainability with regard to energy-optimized operation of the ventilation systems of the dissection tables in different operating states in comparison with the overall ventilation system
- Consultation and consideration of the overall course of the study of anatomy in building section 63.400 with the two dissection rooms and the assigned preparation and ancillary rooms directly connected on the ground floor (building part 63.100) (including preparation and storage of body donations)
- Identify and participate in interfaces to ventilation planning (TA service profile) and other system groups
- Overall functional responsibility for the establishment of the two dissection rooms
- active action and constructive cooperation
- Participation in commissioning
- Planning and monitoring of the implementation of a new corpse preservation tank. Depending on the final renovation variant chosen, the mortuary tank will either be planned in the existing building (where the old tank is currently located) or housed in a new extension.
The assignment will take place in stages. First of all, the service phases 1 – 3 are to be worked on. The client reserves the right to award only part of the basic service from the aforementioned service profiles.
