The Norwegian Geological Survey (NGU) wishes to understand better the mineralization and basement characterisation at Norwegian crystalline rocks, especially to increase understanding of the content and distribution of rare earth and thorium in the Fens field in the Fensfelt, Ulefoss in Telemark. To achieve that goal, NGU plans to core drill two (2) 1 000 m deep holes of at least 76 mm in diameter.
2 holes should be core drilled down to 1 000 meters. If possible, it is desirable that both holes should be drilled simultaneously. If the contractor is experiences technical or geological problems during drilling, NGU and the supplier shall decide on rather to drill more shallow holes.
The bids deadline is 25.8.2017.
