UK Global Healthcare Limited (‘UGH’) and Indo UK Healthcare Private Limited (‘IUHP’) on behalf of the Indo UK Institute of Health programme (‘IUIH’) (collectively referred to as ‘the Parties’) wish to appoint a partner/partners to a panel of Gastroenterology suppliers which will subsequently be invited to join long term partnerships with IUHP and IUIH to supply to the eleven proposed NHS branded Indo UK Institutes of Health at various locations across India. This advert is part of a comprehensive procurement programme which will be conducted by UGH and IUHP throughout 2017 and 2018 and which will be advertised in a similar manner. It follows on from 2 earlier requirements placed for orthopaedics and radiology which are now at the contract award stage. Land has been purchased by IUIH and construction of the first Medicity will be starting in December 2017.
UGH is acting as the lead in putting in place a Framework Agreement for Gastroenterology Device and Equipment. The Framework Agreement will enable the award of call-off contracts for the development of hospitals and clinics across India. The successful partner/s will be required to provide the specified Gastroenterology Device and Equipment to each hospital and clinic. The successful partner/s will also be expected to share a proportion of the risk in the development of each hospital and clinic by way of financial investment. The form of such financial investment will form part of the tender solutions proposed by bidders.

Biopsy All endoscopy consumable products associated with biopsy procedures. Thismay include products such as forceps, clips, EUS needles and snares.
Polypectomy.
All endoscopy consumable products required to carry out a polypectomy procedure. This may include a variety of snares, nets, EMR kits, baskets, distal caps, procedure specific knives and forceps.
Double balloon Entraoscopy.
Pill Cameras and Capsule.
Endoscopy Consumables.
Wireless capsule endoscopy consumable products and pill cameras. This enables recorded images to be taken of the gastrointestinal tract by Swallowing a pill capsule containing a camera.
ERCP.
All endoscopy consumable products associated with endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures. This may include products such as cannulae, sphincterotomes, guidewires, balloons and extraction devices.
Metal Stents.
Metal stents for use as part of any endoscopic procedure. This may include the following types of metal stent: biliary, colonic, duodenal, pyloric, tracheobronchial, enteral and esophageal.
Haemostasis.
Any suitable consumable products required to carry out an endoscopic haemostasis procedure. This may include products such as clips, probes, needles, catheters and ligators.
Dilation.
Any suitable consumable products associated with endoscopic dilation Procedures. This may include various types of balloons, dilators, syringes and inflation devices.

This product group is for the provision for any additional endoscopy consumable products that cannot be categorised within the above product groups. This may include cleaning brushes, bite blocks, mouth-guards in addition to pulmonary equipment such as cytology brushes.
