purpose

The procurement aims to ensure that customers have continuous access to bags and sacks for food and waste management according to the requirements specification during the contract period and have the opportunity to adjust the supply to more environmentally circular products under current agreements if reasonable products are added to the market. Furthermore, the procurement aims to ensure that the production of bags and sacks takes place on fair terms.

Extent

The procurement includes the delivery of bags as specified to the ordering organisations.

Estimation of volumes below is based on historical consumption and the figure below refers to all contracting authorities/entities.

6 liter bags (volume product) - about 10,000,000 to 12,000,000 bags/year

6 liter bags (vacuum waste collection system) - about 200,000 bags / year

15 liter bag (residual waste) - about 2 000 000 bags / year

20 liter bag - about 60,000 bags / year

Various other bags will be added.
