Fire Department Zone Rand is looking for a reliable Cloud VoIP solution that can be centrally managed for its 21 locations. Each location needs to be able to manage its own numbers and call flows, but it should also be possible to manage over different locations.

For the most part, the zone runs on volunteers and currently the number of employees with a mobile phone and/or mobile subscription in the area is very limited. It is therefore important that volunteers can be included in the call flows on the cloud pbx with their own mobile phone number.

The number of locations to run on this VoIP solution is 21 (i.e. the fire stations of Brasschaat, Brecht, Kapellen, Kalmthout, Wuustwezel, Sint-Job, Oostmalle, Westmalle, Schilde, Schilde, Schoten, Ranst, Wommelgem, Borsbeek, Edegem, Lint, Kontich, Zoersel, Sint-Antonius, Essen and Zandhoven + the registered office (zonal office)).

At present, 3 of these locations are still fully operating via Proximus (whether or not with a Proximus plant), the others are entirely on United Telecom or use a combination of Proximus and United Telecom.

The major posts have a Telenet internet connection (Business 240 plus) with fixed IP address with a backup internet line from United Telecom. The smaller posts use 1 VDSL connection. This internet connection is connected to an internal firewall managed by the ICT service of Fire Department Zone Rand. The current VoIP solution works over this internet connection

Zone Rand Fire Department expects the enroler to carry out the migration of devices, users, phone numbers and call flows from the current solution (Compass) to the new solution. Optionally, Fire Department Zone Rand also wants to be able to purchase hardware (telephones, dects, repeaters,...) via the tenderer. The tenderer provides Fire Brigade Zone Rand not only with technical and functional support during the term of the contract, but also provides sound management training and the necessary documentation.

Fire Department Zone Rand wants to enter into a 4-year contract that will be renewable 4x by 1 year after that initial period.
