The manual opening of the bridge allows ships access to the inner port. This bridge is an essential operating tool for the operation of the port and the city.

The rehabilitation of the structure consists of a restoration of the structural and functional elements, and various modernization operations.

In view of the situation, the smallest possible inconvenience to the functionalities of the city (vehicle and pedestrian transit) will be sought. Thus, in the basic offer, the interruption of traffic must not exceed 18 months, the relocation of the bridge is possible and the installation of a removable pedestrian bridge is not mandatory.

In variants, shorter deadlines (9, 12 and 15 months) will be sought and solutions for passenger transit may be options.
