Description:
Development and production of a 3rd season of the podcast Kinderwunschzeit - The podcast of the BMFSFJ as well as expansion of the areas of causes, diagnosis and treatment on the website www.informationsportal-kinderwunsch.de

The Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) intends to award the www.informationsportal-kinderwunsch.de contract for the development and production of a third season of the podcast "Kinderwunschzeit - Der Podcast des Bundesministerium Familienministeriums" as well as the expansion of the areas "Causes" and "Treatment" on the website by way of an open procedure pursuant to Section 119 (1) ARC.

For more information, please refer to the attached tender documents.

In 2012, the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) launched the federal initiative "Help and Support for Unwanted Childlessness".

The federal initiative is supported by three pillars:

1) Financial support

2) Strengthening psychosocial fertility counselling

3) Interest-neutral information and education on the causes, causes and treatment options

In order to provide those affected and interested parties with interest-neutral information and education on the reasons and causes of unwanted childlessness, the BMFSFJ operates the information portal Desire to have children (www.informationsportal kinderwunsch.de). In addition to basic information on treatment options, the website contains a support check with which those affected can test their possibility of financial support for fertility treatments in a low-threshold manner. In addition, the site contains further information on financial support from the federal and state governments, an address database for fertility centers and for qualified psychosocial fertility counseling services, as well as information on possible causes and treatment methods for infertility.

In 2021, the BMFSFJ began to create the "Fertility Time" section on the Info Portal and has been expanding it ever since. The aim is to make the contents of qualified psychosocial fertility counselling better known, to "pick up" women and men at an early stage and to take away their inhibitions and fears about such counselling, but also to show them possibilities of "self-coaching".

For this purpose, in addition to informative texts, videos and quizzes, the podcast series "Kinderwunschzeit Der Podcast des Bundesministeriums" was launched. Since then, a total of 36 podcast episodes have been published on a regular basis on the various topics that are particularly relevant to those affected. The first season included 14 episodes, the second season, which is currently still being released successively until the end of 2023, consists of 22 episodes. Since the podcast is attracting a great deal of interest from listeners and experts and the BMFSFJ is receiving more and more topic requests from those affected for further episodes and requests from experts to participate in the podcast, it is to be continued and a third season with at least 22 further episodes is to be produced.

At the same time, the still very large gaps in knowledge among the population on the subject of fertility/reproduction are to be reduced by restructuring the areas of "causes", "diagnosis" and "treatment" on the information portal and underpinning them with information based on medical and legal science.

The framework contract agencies of the BMFSFJ will be responsible for the technical implementation of the individual formats, as they can ensure compliance with the BITV standards set by the BMFSFJ, taking into account the technical requirements of the information portal and - for the audio formats - on the corresponding streaming platforms. The contractor is responsible for the content of the works to be created. Close cooperation between the framework agencies of the BMFSFJ and the contractor is ensured by the BMFSFJ.

The service advertised here therefore refers to

The preparation of an editorial plan for the development and provision of the various formats on the information portal Kinderwunsch.de,

the content of the podcast episodes including the creation of the scripts and coordination of the content with the BMFSFJ,

the planning and execution of the interviews for the podcast including the preparation of the interview questions, conducting the interviews as well as preparation and follow-up in close exchange with the BMFSFJ framework contract agencies,

Recovering experts from the fields of gynaecology, reproductive medicine, andrology, urology and pediatrics and conducting interviews with them, including the creation of interview questions and scripts,

the recruitment of those affected and conducting interviews with them, including the creation of interview questions and scripts (optional),

the recruitment of influencers, celebrities, opinion leaders or similar, including a corresponding briefing on social media cooperation (optional),

the scientifically and legally sound drafting of new texts or revisions of existing texts as well as the restructuring of the content of the sections "Causes", "Diagnosis" and "Treatment" for the information portal Fertility. The contractor receives the texts to be revised from the BMFSFJ.
