As part of the implementation of measures of the third management cycle of the EU WFD, the Ministry of the Environment, Climate, Mobility, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of the Saarland calls in the draft of the programme of measures to convert the near-natural wastewater treatment plant Gehweiler into a technical plant with nitrification, denitrification and P-elimination. The aim is to be able to comply with stricter limit values compared to Annex 1 of the Wastewater Ordinance.
The subject of the planning is the services in the service profile "Technical equipment" according to § 53 HOAI for the conversion of the existing pond sewage treatment plant Wadern-Gehweiler into a technical sewage treatment plant with further nitrification, denitrification and P-elimination. The new wastewater treatment plant will be equipped with a suitable mechanical cleaning system consisting of a screen and a ventilated sand trap system as well as a sludge storage system. The BIOCOS process is used as a clarification process. An expansion size of 2200 PE is planned.
The scope of services includes the planning of the technical equipment in accordance with § 53 HOAI (plant group 1-8), insofar as not specified by the BIOCOS procedure. To illustrate the scope of planning, the following are the key components:
• Inlet or intermediate pumping station including pumps, piping and fittings, if required according to the concept
• Fine screening system including screenings conveying and processing
• Round sand trap including blowers, aeration equipment, pumps, piping and fittings
• Simultaneous aerobic sludge stabilization including blowers, aeration equipment, agitators, pumps, piping and fittings, as well as scrapers or clear water extractors if required
• Sludge stacking hopper including recirculation device
• Operational and functional buildings
I&C services and building services (cost group 410-480)
- Calculation, dimensioning and planning of the required energy supply for the entire plant, including an emergency power supply, through which the system can be supplied via a mobile NEA in the event of a power failure
- Design and planning of the motors and electrical distribution for the pumps and aggregates
- Dimensioning and planning of the frequency converters of the pumps and aggregates as well as any compensation required
- Planning of plant automation, in particular the connection of the wastewater treatment plant to the process control system of the higher-level wastewater treatment plant. Furthermore, the creation of an automation concept with a central PLC, decentralised peripherals, bus structure and connection of sensors and actuators. The control, operation and monitoring of the system must be carried out via a SCADA system capable of a control system
- Design of the automation interfaces between the BIOCOS process and the rest of the system
- Planning of connections and interfaces to public infrastructure
Gas/water/electricity/telecommunications networks
-Lighting
- Photovoltaic system as self-supply system
- Emergency stop concept
- Grounding concept
- Preparation of the explosion protection concept
- A lightning protection concept must be drawn up for all plant buildings and above-ground structures.
- Measurement and control technology
- Ancillary facilities (e.g. crane systems)
-Drinking water
- Industrial water supply
-Sanitary
- Ventilation and air conditioning technology
- Participation in commissioning
- Review and release of complete plant documentation
