A framework agreement shall be signed with a supplier for the supply of necessary provisions, dry products, frozen products, fresh products and alcohol, for a crew of 13 at the meteorological stations on Bjørnøya and Hopen. The supplier must be able to clear customs/dispatch the products out as a duty free export.

The framework agreement is for 2 years with an option for 1 + 1 year. The option will be taken up with three months notice. This framework agreement gives the awarding authority the right, but not a duty, to make call-offs within the framework agreement. The awarding authority is not obligated to purchase a specific amount of products during the framework agreement period.

A complete description of the expected delivery is in annex 1, price form. In cases where the products are specified with a brand name, equivalent products of the same quality will be accepted.
