Gwent Police is seeking expressions of interest for the Provision of a search Glove/needlestick glove. The framework will be for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 1 year and will be open to the Four Welsh Forces. Gwent Police Authority, South Wales Police Authority, Dyfed Powys Police Authority, and North Wales Police Authority. The current contract for this Provision to Gwent police has expired, and the Authority will be seeking a contractor to supply all four Welsh Forces.

The glove will be used by Police Officers when searching premises, vehicles, and open areas and when searching individuals.

Historically Gwent Police have purchased approximately 700 pairs over a 2 year period.
