Refurbishment of lightning protection systems from 92 earth-covered ammunition warehouses (MLH) of various sizes

Upper cost limit: approx. EUR 11 500 000.00 (gross)

The property houses 92 earth-covered ammunition warehouses (MLH) of various sizes. In the course of the periodic inspections of the lightning protection systems of the MLH, it was found that the permissible resistance values of the earthing system are increasing

Deteriorate and no longer comply with the applicable regulations for lightning protection systems (B1-1810 / 0-6502).

For this reason, it is necessary to remove the earth from the MLH and to renew the systems for lightning protection. In this context, the existing MLH seal is checked for damage and repaired if necessary. The earth is then sieved and applied again. The work must be carried out under the guidance of the ordnance, as the property is considered a suspect area.

In addition, the technical systems in the MLH (lighting, switchgear) are to be replaced and work on the concrete renovation in the interior is to be carried out.

The measures take place while the warehouse is in operation.

The planned measure is created for the Bundeswehr. The specific security requirements must be observed.

According to Part 3, Section 3 §§ 41-44 HOAI 2013 and Part 4, Section 2 §§ 53-56 HOAI 2013 the basic services of LPH 2, 3 and 5 to 8.
