Description:
Provision of services to assist disabled persons and persons of reduced mobility at Belfast International Airport.

The Contracting Entity requires the management and delivery of support services and the supply, operation and maintenance of associated equipment (such as wheelchairs, Smax chairs and ambilifts) to persons with reduced mobility (PRM) as described and covered by the IATA PRM codes using the Airport.

The service will extend to assistance to persons across any or all of the IATA PRM codes.

Outbound assistance will include assistance upon arrival at the airport, through check in, through Security to departure lounge, gate and boarding aircraft.

Inbound assistance will include assistance from aircraft disembarkation, through border control (where appropriate), baggage reclaim and arrivals to means of onward transportation.

Other related assistance includes support to transit passengers and assistance to persons of reduced mobility in the event of schedule delays or cancellations and supply of replacement equipment in event of loss or damage to PRM's personal equipment.

There will be a need to create, record and supply PRM service statistics and performance data.

The service must be available each day of the year on a ‘24/7’ basis.
