The Provincial Development Agency Limburg (hereinafter: POM Limburg) wishes, partly in the name and on behalf of the City of Genk, to sell a set of 4 plots located within zone A of the former Ford Genk site and to have a gatehouse realized on lot 4, which must form the architectural landmark of the business zone to be developed and must also be a model in terms of sustainability and climate neutrality (CO2 neutral). The iconic gatehouse should become a benchmark for the environment, visible from all directions and therefore at least substantially higher than the surrounding logistics buildings.
