The aim of the tender is to plan, implement and implement an educational programme for the project "Mobile Futurium - a model project at the interface of practice and research" (hereinafter referred to as "Mobile Futurium").

As part of the "Mobile Futurium" model project, pupils and teachers experience directly at their school how solutions for local and global future issues can be developed with the help of science, research, technology and the application of future methods. In addition, the spectrum of the Mobile Futurium is intended to support teachers in anchoring future education in schools. In addition, teachers receive the necessary methodological know-how to deal with future challenges in the classroom and on project days or project weeks.

The core of the offer is the implementation of on-site workshops for students of lower secondary level (grades 5-10), as well as the digital training of teachers and school administrators. Up to 600 students can be expected to participate per stay.

The Mobile Futurium is to serve about 30 schools nationwide, in rural areas, per school year. The journey takes place in the form of a roadshow mobile (hereinafter referred to as "Futurium Mobil").

3 tours are planned for the duration of the project:

1st tour: School year 2023/24. Tour start for the Mobile Futurium expected in April 2024 / possibly May 2024 to July 2024 up to ten tour stops, probably in Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

2nd tour: Regular operation in the school year 2024/25, approx. 30 to 35 tour stops, probably in northern Germany

3rd tour: in the school year 2025/26, approx. 25-30 tour stops, probably in southern Germany

A total of 70 schools will be visited during the project period. The Mobile Futurium is available to a school for one week as standard. During this week, up to six school classes will be supervised daily in workshops by a team of six mentors.
