The purpose of the contract is to carry out market studies in the fields of innovation (e.g. telecommunications, artificial intelligence, quantum, the Internet of Things, aeronautics and space, etc.). A market study is a study that offers an exhaustive analysis of a French, European or global sector or ecosystem and the level of technological and economic maturity of the players that compose it. Studies should take into consideration the economic environment and ecosystem highlights that have occurred, are ongoing or anticipated

The draft contract provides for market studies to be carried out. The number of studies to be carried out is estimated at twelve per year. This is an estimate without contractual value, the precise number will be indicated in the contract documents. The studies to be carried out each year will be flat-rate. According to the provisions of Articles R.2162-13 to 14 of the Public Order Code, the administration could also request the realization of additional studies by purchase orders issued as and when necessary. The draft contract also provides for the possibility of issuing purchase orders for the realization of other types of more succinct study such as analysis notes on emerging technologies or uses or flash notes to present, in a summary way, the news of a theme related to innovation. For the purchase order portion, the maximum total amount of the contract, for its total duration, including the renewal period, is 400000 euros (excluding VAT).
