The project is located on the Quai des Matériaux in Brussels. It is bounded by Boulevard Léopold II, Avenue du Port and Place des Armateurs.
The project area is currently allocated partly as public space, and partly as an industrial area.
To create an open space, a number of buildings and coatings will be demolished and replaced by sports fields, green areas, a skate track, a playground, etc.

The project is located on the Quai des Matériaux in Brussels. It is bounded by Boulevard Léopold II, Avenue du Port and Place des Armateurs.

To create an open space, a number of buildings and coatings will be demolished and replaced by sports fields, green areas, a skate track, a playground, etc.
This contract includes the following work:
- asbestos removal;
— demolition of existing buildings;
— demolition of the coating;
— work on the existing dock wall;
— draining;
— clean-up of the site;
— coatings;
— sports infrastructure;
— sandbox;
— skate track;
- landscaping;
— delivery and implementation of furniture;
- lighting;
— etc.;
Details of the contract are set out in the technical documents, including the metrics attached in the appendix.
This contract consists of one firm and four conditional tranches.
The use of conditional instalments is justified on the one hand by the constraints of coordination with neighbouring yards, as well as by the budgetary availabilities of the authorities. The conditions are detailed below.
The metric distinguishes between the firm slice, conditional slices and options, as well as the recipients of invoices. This division implies that certain items relating to identical works appear repeatedly, in different tranches, and/or options.
The unit price to be awarded by the tenderer for the items concerned must be identical for each tranche, and/or option.
The Excel metric to complete is secure in this sense. Bidders are not allowed to lift this protection.
