The procurement concerns foundations and construction of modified debris flow nets in Vannledningsdalen. The aim of the safety measures is to protect against slush flows. 

14 slush landslide nets are to be established in heights varying from 4 m to 8 m above the ground with approx. 1 m opening under the nets. The breadth of the nets varies from 19 m to 35 m. A part of the procurement is incorporated as an option due to an unresolved budget situation. The total value is estimated to be up to NOK 85 million. Parts of the procurement can be included as an option if they exceed the annual available budget. NOK. As part of the assignment, a smaller embankment will also be built along road 217 as well as raising the existing embankments on the Haugen side. The establishment of a site/service road past Funken Lodge on Haugen is also included in the assignment. The start-up of site work can normally be expected in June, depending on, amongst other things, winter conditions and what type of work is to be done. The final deadline for the work is 31.10.2024 regardless of whether the option is taken up.
