The client intends to build the 3rd construction phase of a quay (hereinafter referred to as "columbus quay") in Bremerhaven in the immediate vicinity of the North or Kaiser lock. For this purpose, construction services in connection with planning services are put out to tender.

• Dismantling of the equipment of the old Columbus quay in the 3rd construction phase (fenders, bollards, ladders)

• New construction of a combined sheet pile wall over a length of approx. 234 m (incl. end wall at the southern end of the 3rd construction phase) and back anchoring with very long inclined piles and supplemented in the area of the transverse wall with a horizontal anchoring.

• Partial demolition in the area of the concrete superstructure of the old bank wall from 1928 for the later installation of a supply channel in the area of the old Columbus quay (installation supply channel is not part of the described construction measure).

• Backfilling of the new sheet pile wall with sand,

• Construction of the connection areas at the southern end to the old Columbus quay (transverse wall) and at the

North end to the 2nd construction phase of the Columbus quay,

• Equipping the quay with bollards, sliding strips and ladders

• Production of a surface fastening incl. drainage
