Town Hall is 1 of 2 iconic venues managed by Performances Birmingham Ltd at the heart of the city of Birmingham. Together with Symphony Hall they present an exciting and varied programme of over 600 concerts and events each year.
Performances Birmingham Ltd (PBL) is an independent charitable trust and is controlled by Birmingham City Council.
Performances Birmingham Ltd intend to appoint a service provider to continue the delivery of mechanical and electrical support to the Town Hall venue including an in-house presence effective for the period April 2015 — March 2018, with an option to extend for a further 2 years from that date. Additionally, PBL propose to include building fabric maintenance within the service scope.
Importantly we are looking for a service provider with experience in the following:
— Grade 1 listed buildings maintenance and management.
— HVAC management in specialist environments.
— Working within an event driven environment with impacts upon service level requirements and support needs.
— Managing contracts with a permanent on-site presence.
