The company Kreck Edelstahl GmbH & Co. KG was a metal processing company on the north-western outskirts of the municipality of Haiger-Weidelbach, which mainly manufactured cookware made of stainless steel. Dealing with volatile chlorinated halogenated hydrocarbons (LHKW) caused significant pollution of the soil and the groundwater. The pollution of the groundwater extends downstream into an upstream residential area, so that z. T. indoor air pollution with trucks.

The advertised services are essentially divided into the following partial services:

- Familiarization with the existing project and the project documents including on-site visits, checking and completing the HIM database,

- Final report on the induction phase,

- Data management and data management in the contractor's own spreadsheet program,

- Checking occupational safety including safety-related status checks,

- Checking and ensuring occupational safety measures,

- Support of the client with quality assurance measures and public relations,

- Support of the client in scheduling and cost planning and tracking,

- Creation of monitoring concepts as well as coordination and monitoring of monitoring services,

- Implementation of monitoring as well as sampling and additional water level measurements,

- Documentation services (annual reports and short documentation),

- Basic determination and establishment of a groundwater exploration concept,

- planning, organization and execution of pumping tests,

- Basic determination, structure and calibration as well as forecast calculations and updating / maintenance of a groundwater flow model,

- Preparation and participation in the award of soil remediation work,

- Establishing a leachate forecast i. S. d.
