Description:
Engine Support RNLAF KDC-10.

The objective of this tender is to conclude an Engine maintenance contract for the engines of 2 or (optional) 3 (K)DC-10 aircraft (CF6-50C2) of the RNLAF for an initial period from 1.2.2014 until 30.6.2015 (1 year and 4 months). This period of performance may optionally be extended with 2 times 6 months. The number of engines which need maintenance under this contract is at least 7 and no more than 10n.

The following services are concluded in the contract:

— Engine maintenance, overhaul and repair (see Annex 5 with the aircraft and engine utilization aspects);

— Turn Around Time (TAT) will be no more than 100 days. The TAT starts the moment the engine is removed from the aircraft and stops when the engine is released to the RNLAF;

— Delivery of the engines including transportation;

— Storage of spare engines;

— In case of scheduled engine removal, Contractor shall deliver a serviceable spare RNLAF engine (including QEC kit) Eindhoven Airbase or any other location upon request of the Ministry of Defence prior to engine removal. In case no RNLAF spare engine is available, a lease engine shall be provided;

— In case of unscheduled engine removal, Contractor shall deliver a RNLAF spare engine (including QEC kit) at Eindhoven airbase or any other location upon request of the Ministry of Defence within a maximum of 24 hours after notification of the RNLAF within Europe and within 36 hours worldwide. In case no RNLAF spare engine is available, a lease engine shall be provided;

— Maintenance engineering: technical support, engine monitoring, trend analysis and configuration status accounting;

— Maintenance engineering under EASA 145 approval or equivalent.

— Documentation: shop visit reports including amongst others LLP and LRU tracking, release certificate (Form 1 or FAA Form 8130).

— On-site support of a Field Service Engineer (24 hours/7days per week), at the request of RNLAF on any location other than Contractor's facility. This includes the use of Contractor's own tooling and equipment;

— Delivery or repair of all Materials, LRUs and components required for the engine support;

— All security measurements necessary to comply to the security guidelines of the Contracting Authority.
