Håbo, Knivsta, Sigtuna and Upplands-Bro municipalities cooperate through a collaboration agreement on waste issues. The cooperation is unique in its kind as the municipalities have neither formed a new joint company nor association. Each municipality is an independent actor. The collaboration is based on collaboration, which leads to a cost-effective overall solution in waste and recycling in all four municipalities.  The municipalities are now procuring a joint framework agreement for cleaning and maintenance of recycling stations.
