Rugby Borough Council (RBC) invited tenders for the provision of guarding services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with 2 security guards per block at the following sites:

Site 1: Biart Place, Rugby: including Green Court and Fairway Court;

Site 2: Rounds Gardens, Rugby: including Ashwood Court, Royal Court and Beechwood Court.

Duties include:

— patrolling all floors and communal areas of every block to ensure all communal areas, bin chutes and electric cupboards are free of obstruction, items that could cause an obstruction, or be combustible,

— inspecting the areas patrolled for suspicious activity, antisocial behaviour and ensuring the site is safe and secure,

— monitoring the front and rear entrance doors to ensure residents are not bringing any items into the block that could cause a major incident,

— full compliance with the Council’s evacuation procedure and understanding responsibilities in the event of a fire.
