In accordance with Chapter K - Decentralized Terms of Employment Resources - in the CLA – HBO 2020 of 25 May 2020, the option of offering a collective disability insurance policy has been maintained for the spending targets. This concerns an optional, independent choice of the university of applied sciences. In 2014, Fontys gave substance to this in consultation with trade unions (local consultation) and a tender was launched in order to reach an agreement. This agreement has an end date of 1 July 2021. As Fontys wants to continue this insurance, it will be put on the market again by means of a public European tender.
