Trees are an important part of the green layout of the municipality. Sound tree management must result in a healthy and sustainable tree stock.

By means of this tender, the municipality wishes to achieve that trees that have been designated for this purpose on the basis of inspections are restored to the desired safety and maintenance condition. The municipality thus fulfills its statutory and social duty of care with regard to its trees.

There is mainly generic executive work that can be roughly divided into pruning and cutting trees and collecting the pruned wood.

The work will only be carried out for the municipality of Laarbeek. In the field of work there is no question of merging, because it only concerns pruning work within the municipal boundary. In other words, the assignment forms a technical and economic whole. The total contract is not such that it is too large to be carried out by SMEs. The contract is therefore not divided into lots.

The starting date of the agreement is 1.9.2020.
