The Authority (and its successor) is seeking to appoint a contractor to undertake the following scope of works:

— remedial works / refurbishment to policing facilities / extensions and minor works,

— major works,

— new build facilities.

The proposed scope of the works is to carry out works at multiple sites.

All of the works and activities undertaken by the contractor will be in facilities that are, and will remain; operational throughout the contract period therefore expertise in working in this environment is essential. The contractor will be expected to procure and organise all construction work including the co-ordination and control of sub-contractors and suppliers. Effective planning and management of works, and effective consultation and liaison with the client will be crucial to ensuring that there is minimum disruption caused.
