The Project E6 Vintermyr Railway Crossing in Namsskogan kommune comprises the stretch on the E7 from hp31, km 10.5 — 11.55, approx. 1 km new E6. The project shall ensure accessibility on the E6 and better traffic safety at the crossing between the E6 and the railway at Vintermyr.

Also included in the project is the alteration of local roads, construction of a new forest road and construction of noise berm.

The zoning plan builds on the crossing solution where the E6 traffic drives over the railway and the railway traffic is placed in a culvert under. In the meantime this competition opens the possibility of constructing a bridge over the railway instead of culvert along. Tenderers can choose design solutions both for steel and concrete alternatives.

It is not possible to select a solution where the E6 traffic goes under the railway.
