Description:
Winter maintenance of provincial roads in the winter season 2022/2023 along with winter maintenance of sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths.

TASK No I – DW 921 and DW 408:

winter maintenance of roads with a length of 23.2 km, sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths with an area of 28 365 m2

organizational and technical activities

preparation of materials for the removal and prevention of slipperiness

removing snow from roads, sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths

removal of winter slipperiness from roads through the use of chemicals or non-chemical (graying) materials, from sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths

cleaning work (cleaning after winter)

TASK NO II – DW 901 and DW 907:

winter maintenance of roads with a length of 35.5 km, sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths with an area of 8 305.5 m2

organizational and technical activities

preparation of materials for the removal and prevention of slipperiness

removing snow from roads, sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths

removal of winter slipperiness from roads through the use of chemicals or non-chemical (graying) materials, from sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths

cleaning work (cleaning after winter)

TEST No I — DW 921 and DW 408

TASK No I – DW 921 and DW 408 covering:

winter maintenance of roads with a length of 23.2 km

winter maintenance of sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths with an area of 28 365 m2

organizational and technical activities

preparation of materials for the removal and prevention of slipperiness

removal of snow from the roads

removal of snow from sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths

removal of winter slipperiness from roads by using chemical agents or non-chemical (colouring) materials

removing slipperiness from sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths

cleaning works after the winter season (cleaning of roads, sidewalks and walking and cycling paths after winter)

in accordance with ANNEX No 3A.

4. It is estimated that as part of the Winter Action, the following will be carried out:

- conducting an active action of winter road maintenance 30 days

- conducting an active action in the field of winter maintenance of sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths 5 days

- conducting passive action of winter maintenance of roads, sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths 111 days

- conducting the action "ice" (combating slipperiness on all roads covered by winter maintenance) 10 days;

5. As part of the subject of the contract (conducting the Winter Action), the concepts of conducting an active winter road maintenance action, an active winter maintenance of sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths, conducting the "ice" action and passive winter maintenance of roads, sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths are used.

6. Active action is understood as the performance of activities related to the maintenance of passability by removing snow and combating slipperiness in accordance with the detailed technical specification of proper execution and acceptance of works - winter maintenance of roads and sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths and a list of standards for winter maintenance of provincial roads and sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths (Annexes No. 2, 3, 4 to the Agreement).

7. Accession of the Contractor to work from the introduction of the active action by the authorized person of the Contracting Authority or the Director of the ZDP shall be up to 2 hours. The time of accession is one of the criteria for selecting the offer.

8. The passive action means the maintenance of equipment on the so-called readiness, the operation of the dispatch point, the patrolling of roads, pavements and paths on foot - bicycle and the intervention of snow removal or the control of slipperiness at the instructions of the Contracting Authority or in cases identified during patrolling - applies to an area with a very limited range.

9. The "ice" action is understood as combating slipperiness on all provincial roads only by sprinkling them with salt (without de-slipping). As part of this action, the contractor is obliged to sprinkle salt twice a day on all provincial roads along the entire width. From the moment of launching the above-mentioned action, the contractor will proceed to the first sprinkling of roads within the time specified in the contract, while the contractor will proceed to the second sprinkling at the time indicated by the Ordering Party.

10. By carrying out the service for winter maintenance of footpaths and footpaths - bicycles is meant:

a) combating slipperiness by sprinkling sand or in the event of very difficult winter conditions with the consent of the Ordering Party with a sand-salt mixture in the ratio of 1:1 pavement surface and pedestrian and bicycle paths using a self-propelled spreader or mounted on a vehicle adapted to move on sidewalks,

b) snow removal of pavement surfaces and pedestrian and bicycle paths using a vehicle used for mechanical snow removal of pavement with a permissible total weight of up to 2.5 tons (vehicles may not damage the pavement surface, pedestrian and bicycle path, curbs, etc.),

(c) the maintenance of the equipment and machinery intended for the execution of this contract with their operation,

(d) the Contractor's own provision of repair and repair equipment provided for the provision of services by the Contractor.

TEST No II — DW 901 and DW 907

TASK No II – DW 901 and DW 907 covering:

winter maintenance of roads with a length of 35.5 km

winter maintenance of sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths with an area of 8,305.5 m2

organizational and technical activities

preparation of materials for the removal and prevention of slipperiness

removal of snow from the roads

removal of snow from sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths

removal of winter slipperiness from roads by using chemical agents or non-chemical (colouring) materials

removing slipperiness from sidewalks and pedestrian and bicycle paths

cleaning works after the winter season (cleaning of roads, sidewalks and walking and cycling paths after winter)

in accordance with ANNEX No 3B.
