Jernbaneverket is planning the procurement of a new Traffic Management System (TMS) for operating the Norwegian railway network. This is a part of the renewal of the signalling system based on the ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) standard. The goal is to renew the existing signalling systems on the railway network within 2030. The renewal includes Trackside Systems, Onboard equipment and introduction of TMS.

Procurement of a new TMS includes:

— delivery of one TMS operating and controlling existing and new signalling systems,

— related services (including, but not limited to, design/engineering, installation, integration, testing, approval, training and documentation),

— support services.

The new TMS system will contribute to a uniform, flexible structure for traffic management.
