Provision, setup, training and maintenance of an appointment management software including a call system for the health department of the Wittenberg district
With the "Pact for the Public Health Service", the federal and state governments have created the basis for making work in the public health service more efficient and making an important contribution to digitization.
The district of Wittenberg participated in this project with the aim of modernizing the internal and external administrative processes in the health department with the help of digital technologies. To this end, the aim is to achieve greater proximity to the citizen through communication at eye level, process optimisation and resource conservation by minimising paper consumption and avoiding journeys.
Citizens should be given the opportunity to contact the health department via various channels and apply for services online as well as to participate in online instructions and consultation hours, taking into account IT security, data protection and accessibility.
The goal is an online appointment booking system that is easy and intuitive to use.
In addition, the system should provide a clear and concise view of the available appointments so that a suitable appointment can be found quickly. Another important feature is the ability to automatically send email notifications and reminders for upcoming appointments. Citizens should also be able to make appointment requests.
A call system should be connected to the appointment booking system. This allows tickets to be created on site without the need to queue in a physical queue. The call system and the appointment management form a single unit when both systems are used for a queue.
In addition to booking appointments, it will also be possible to book online consultations in the form of video conferences.
Initially, only pure appointment bookings and online consultations will be used in the health department.
