Thinning of undergrowth and beech growth in places where common footwear occurs in the Natura 2000 area, Buczyny in Szypowice and Las Niwiski.

The subject of the contract is the performance of a service consisting in the implementation of active protection activities in the Natura 2000 area of Buczyny in Szypowice and Las Niwiski PLH240034, consisting in thinning of undergrowth and beech undergrowth in places where common footwear occurs.

The scope of the Contractor's work will include:

- thinning of undergrowth and beech undergrowth in places where common footwear occurs in the Natura 2000 area Buczyny in Szypowice and Las Niwiski PLH240034 on parts of divisions 90-a, 90-b, 90c, 94-c, 96-a, 96-b located in the Sierbowice Forestry (area on PGL LP land about 5.09 ha), as well as on parts of cadastral plots no.: 332, 338, 339, 340, 341, 342, 343 precinct Mokrus, municipality Ogrodzieniec - area on private land about 0.447 ha.

The total area covered by thinning of undergrowth and beech undergrowth at footwear sites is about 5,537 ha.

The aim of the activities is to achieve shade of orchid sites by trees and shrubs at the level of 25 to 40% and thus improve the habitat conditions of the species in question.

The minimum area on which the Contractor is guaranteed the possibility of implementing activities is about 5.09 ha. This is the area of the area managed by PGL LP of the Olkusz Forest District.
