moBiel GmbH is a transport company in Bielefeld, Germany. It is a 100% subsidiary of Stadtwerke Bielefeld and operates four light rail lines and 76 bus lines (including NachtBus). Environmental and climate protection is an important goal that moBiel pursues through the use of environmentally friendly technologies in its vehicles and infrastructure. In this context, practical concepts of electromobility in local public transport should be implemented. For this purpose, 25 battery buses with fuel cell range extenders (8 solo buses and 17 articulated buses) are to be procured.
