Delivery and installation of two traffic lights and the laying of control cables in Essen - Nordviertel

Quantity overview:

The following traffic light systems are to be supplied and installed:

1. LSA 273 Berthold-Beitz-Boulevard / Bamlerstr.

2. LSA 279 Berthold-Beitz-Boulevard Haus-Nr. 475 (Zangenstr.)

Furthermore, signal cables and communication cables, as well as approx. 450m

Control cable A-2YF(L) 2y St III Bd 50*2*0.8.

All empty conduit routes to the control units, to the mast locations and on the road section are provided on site.

The respective signalling cabling is to be created by the contractor in accordance with the cabling plans specified by the client, using central technology.

The road works are currently being carried out. The civil engineering company will work on site until the completion and opening of the new road section to traffic.

The traffic-dependent control of the traffic lights is carried out in LISA + version 8

The two new traffic lights will be connected to OCIT's SITRAFFIC Scala traffic computer via the city's control cable network.

Wirtschaftlichkeitsbetrachtung:

The award of the contract is based on an economic feasibility study of the energy consumption of the signalling devices of both traffic light systems. The observation period for the energy consumption of the signal transmitters is 20 years. The contract will be awarded to the most economical tender.
